The West Arthur Community Resource Centre manages the delivery of health services at the Health and Resource Centre. An excellent range of services are available to local residents and visitors to the Shire. Currently the following health professionals service our centre.
Doctor
Dr Marlene Oelofse, currently visits the Health & Resource Centre in Darkan on Friday’s (day subject to change). For appointments contact the Boddington Medical Centre on 9883 9999.
Health Nurse
The Nurse is available on Mondays and Thursdays. This is a free service but appointments are required. Phone Williams Medical Centre to make an appointment on 9885 2600
Child Health Nurse
The Child Health Nurse attends the CRC by appointment only. Contact the Williams Medical Centre on 9885 2600 to book an appointment.
Chiropractic First
A chiropractor from Chiropractic First, Collie visits the every second month. Appointments can be made through the Collie clinic on 9734 4800.
Counselling
If you require access to a counselling service please contact the CRC for agency referrals on 9736 2000.
Blood Testing Service
You can have blood samples taken at the CRC on Fridays when the doctor is in attendance. Please bring your pathology request form and your Medicare card. Phone the CRC on 9736 2000 for appointments.
