BorrowBox is an award winning Australian App that enables Darkan Library members to browse and borrow bestselling eAudiobooks on their Apple or Android device for limited periods through digital loans. To get started follow the simple instructions below.

  1. Download Borrow Box app on smart phone/tablet etc or to use it on your PC visit http://library.bolindadigital.com/darkan
  2. Enter your member bar code and pin (postcode)
  3. Search, enjoy and borrow

OverDrive, our online library, allows you to access about 700,000 audiobook, eBook, music and video titles online through the Darkan Library. To get started follow the simple instructions below.

  1. Ensure your member bar code has been added to the OverDrive system by the Darkan Library staff
  2. Visit http://wapldmc.lib.overdrive.com
  3. Enter your member bar code and pin (last 4 characters of library card)
  4. Search, enjoy and borrow

rb digital (previously known as Zinio) offers full colour interactive digital magazines for your enjoyment. Browse from the library’s collection of popular titles with no holds, no checkout periods, and no limit to the number of magazines you can download. To get started follow the simple instructions below.

  1. Visit https://www.rbdigital.com/wapldmc/service/zinio/landing
  2. Click on ‘Create New Account’ in top right hand corner
  3. Enter your member bar code
  4. Select West Arthur as resident library
  5. Search using genre etc. and enjoy

Kanopy logo

Kanopy is an on-demand streaming video service for public libraries and educational institutions that provides library patrons, students and faculty access to a large collection of films. To get started follow the simple instructions below.

  1. Visit http://darkan.kanopystreaming.com
  2. Enter your library barcode
  3. You have 4 credits (or can watch 4 film/documentaries) per month, which is reset on the 1st of every month
  4. You then have 72 hours to watch or re-watch a film from the time they start to watch a film
